VACATION HOME EASTER ISLAND

Conversion of a fish-farm pumping station

Kaltene fish-farm pumping station was built in the 1980s on an artificial island in the sea 300 metres offshore in Riga Bay of the Baltic Sea. It is a conversion project which preserves the landscape and architectural image of the island and serves as a reminder of the Soviet industrial heritage – a landmark of its place and time.
