LAUNDRY HOUSE ”VEŠŪZIS”
The lightest touches to the house reminding of the long-gone tradition
Strong referencing to past centuries’ traditions is becoming a more noticeable movement in Latvia, redefining the connection between fundamental aspects of context, materials and contemporary lifestyle. This renovation of an authentic 18th/19th century laundry house created an opportunity to start an educational program about ancient laundry washing traditions.
